Review of: Leeann Chin Chinese Cuisine

Everytime I am in MN to see my family, I have to eat at Leeann Chin at least once. My favorite is the lemon chicken, beef lo mein, peking chicken. I also love their potstickers, cream cheese puffs and oyster wings. If you go there close to closing time, you sometimes run the risk of getting the dregs of the pan, but usually the food is fresh (since it's usually busy they are always making fresh food) and delicious.

  • great burgers, even better pickles

    Review of: Jackson Hole

The burgers here are wonderful. Huge, and delicious. The fries are also good, and I love that they give you a bowl of pickles for the table. I haven't tried anything else on the menu, but this is one of my favorite places to go for burgers in the city. I think there is also one in Queens, near JFK or LaGuardia, but I have frequented the one in the 30s on the east side.

Review of: One If by Land Two If by Sea

I have only been to One if By Land, Two if By Sea once, but it was wonderful. We had the prix fixe tasting menu, wonderful wine, and tasty martinis. The beef wellington was terrific, and the service was outstanding. The waiter was attentive and knowledgeable. You definitely get what you pay for here, and I would recommend it for any special occasion. I will have to start saving up so I can go again!

  • Kum Gang San is great

    Review of: Kum Gang Sang

The atmosphere is really nice, the service is quick and good and the food is delicious. My favorite is Kimchi Chi Gae - it is thick and delicious and it always has slices of dduk which I love in chigae. The panchan is good also - and I love getting fruit at the end of the meal. The barbeque is expensive (kalbi, bulgogi) but if you stick with the non-barbeque items, the bill is usually not bad. The haemul pajun is also wonderful. And it's open 24/7 - always a nice treat after a night out.

    Review of: Pearl Oyster Bar

I love Pearl Oyster Bar. The lobster rolls are FABULOUS and the fries are delcious and salty. I've also had the oyster roll which is great (though my favorite is the lobster roll) and the PEI Mussels. Yum. I have never had anything bad at this restaurant. The Caesar Salad is good and the Clam Chowder is also great. The only bad thing is that the restaurant is small and doesn't take reservations, so you often have to wait to be seated. Other than that, Pearl Oyster Bar is perfection.

    Review of: Ardmore Animal Hospital

We moved to the Main Line from New York about a year and a half ago, and were not sure what vet we should use. On a friend's recommendation, we took our dog to Ardmore Animal Hospital and have been very happy with the service and the care they give our dog. Our vet is smart and friendly, and I feel confident that she knows what she is talking about and cares about our dog. The facilities are very nice - very clean, and overall, we have had a wonderful experience every time we have gone.

    Review of: Morimoto

Be prepared to spend a lot of money here, but it's worth it. The sushi is delicious and fresh. The best I've had in Philadelphia. My friend had the rock shrimp appetizer (I think it was rock shrimp) and that was delicious as well. Morimoto also has fun drinks and a hip atmosphere. I've heard that Morimoto himself is often there, but we didn't see him during our visit. I'm looking forward to going there again (after I've saved up a little...haha) and maybe next time he'll be there. Highly highly recommend this restaurant.

    Review of: Primavera Pizza Kitchen

I love love love this restaurant. Everything I have eaten here has been excellent, especially the Spaghetti Bolognese. I've also had a wonderful linguine with seafood dish. They often have inventive salad specials, and are flexible with their menu (my husband wanted Chicken Parm, they didn't have it on the menu but made it for him anyway). They also have a nice wine list and the service is great. This is one of my favorite places to eat on the Main Line.

  • good for lunch

    Review of: Hot Tamales

The taco salad at Hot Tamales is great. It's often pretty crowded during lunch, but the service is fast and the food is good. Besides the taco salad, I've had chips and cheese, chips and salsa, tacos and burritos there and it's all been great. It's also relatively inexpensive, so if you don't want to spend a lot of money on your lunch, it's a good place to go. Just make sure you either go early (around noon) or later (after 1:30) or you'll have a difficult time finding a place to sit.

  • I eat here often

    Review of: Friday's

We eat here often for lunch, and are usually very pleased. If you don't get there right at 12:00, there is often a wait for a table, and sometimes the service is not great, though lately it has seemed to be better. It can be expensive if you get appetizers, but overall, I usually have a good experience there. Their soup and salad lunch combination is good, and I especially like their Double Stuffed Quesadillas.
