    Review of: Bedbath & beyond

Bed Bath & Beyond has an extensive selection for the home, from sheets to paper towel dowels. The prices are pretty good, and you can often find some items on sale. And I often get the postcard mailing for 20% off a single item, so you should always have those saved for your Bed Bath & Beyond trips. Also, the staff is helpful without being overbearing and breathing down your neck while you peruse the store.

Review of: Landmark Century Centre Cinema

Landmark Century Centre Cinema is a great movie theater if you feel like avoiding the Hollywood blockbusters and enjoying an independent film. The theaters are clean and well kept and the popcorn always tastes fresh, even though the traffic is less here compared to the other mega theaters in town. It's located inside the Century Centre mall, so you can stop off at Eatzi's for a bite to eat afterwards.

Review of: AMC River East 21

I really like AMC River East 21 because it's a huge theater with many screens, and they have stadium seating - a must in my opinion. They also have an extensive concessions stand that includes the usual offerings, such as popcorn, to more interesting items, like chicken fingers. They show a good selection of movies, so you can always find something to watch at this theater.

    Review of: Urban Outfitters

I really like Urban Outfitters. They have a lot of cool clothes that don't seem like cookie-cutter designs. They also sell a lot of accessories, such as jewelry and belts. Unfortunately, a lot of the clothes at Urban Outfitters are a bit overpriced, but I can usually find a few great items on their sales racks. I've also never had a problem with clothes from Urban Outfitters standing the test of time.

    Review of: Seven Eleven

It seems like 7-Eleven has recently had an effort to offer better prepared food for people on the go. They actually have a pretty good turkey sandwich on wheat bread, as well as other selections. I also like their coffee, but I wish they offered skim milk in addition to cream. I also like their star shaped rice krispie treats.

There's not much you can't find at Windy City Sweets. From chocolates, to gummi bears, to ice cream, you'll walk away happy. You can select your own combination of bulk candy to package in a great tin for a present. The employees are always very friendly and helpful. Theie homemade fudge is also terrific.

    Review of: Krispy Kreme Doughnuts

Krispy Kreme glazed donuts are soft, doughy, sweet and delicious. Try to get a warm one freshly baked, but if not you can zap one in the microwave to get a comparable experience. That being said, I can only eat one because after the first donut, they become overly sweet. And I'm only really a fan of the classic glazed.

    Review of: Wendy's

I have to admit, I like Wendy's. I like that they have a larger selection of items compared to other fast food places, such as chili and baked potatoes. I also love their Spicy Chicken Sandwich. I find it easier to eat healthier at Wendy's than anywhere else. Often, I'll get chili and a side salad, and pour the chili on top instead of dressing for a pseudo taco salad.

    Review of: Krista K Boutique

Krista K is a cute boutique to you're tired of seeing everyone else in the same Banana Republic top as you walk down the street. They have a lot of one of a kind items, and Krista herself is very friendly and always eager to help. It can get a little pricey but worth it.

  • Cheap Preteen Clothes

    Review of: Forever 21

Forever 21 has cheap trendy clothes that are geared more towards preteens. But I have to admit I've bought a few cute "throwaway" pieces for a night out. Also, they have some cute cheap jewelry selections, so you don't have to be upset if you lose an earring during an evening of revelry.
