new and used sports equipment
Review of: Play It Again Sports
When I am looking for any type of sports equipment, I stop here first. They sell new and used equipment at good prices. They will take your sports equipment and sell it on consignment. I think they will even trade equipment. I bought my fitness equipment here and have been extremely pleased. My sister has bought sports equipment here for her children - baseball, basketball, tennis and golf. In the winter, they even carry some ski and snow boarding equipment. Some of the staff is knowledgeable about most of the equipment. We have talked with some that know just one sport, but that is okay. They are all helpful.

huge farmers market
Review of: Farmers Market Piedmont Triad
This is not my idea of a farmers market. True, it does have the open air stalls and it sells fruit and vegetables. but it is so big and most of the products do not come from local farmers. Most are shipped in and sold at premium prices. I will go here if I am looking for something special or unique as they do have stalls for crafts and such. Another drawback for me is the location. It is located off Sandy Ridge Road, down I-40 beyond the airport. I personally hardly have need to go that direction.

caring to my "children"
Review of: Reidsville Veterinary Hospital Eye Cre of Rdsvlle
My "children" consists of 3 dogs and a cat. Reidsville Vet has taken care of all of them. We have been going to them for over 20 years. They have had to put my husband's baby to sleep ( and they actually cried with him when it happened). The main doctor here has won many dog shows. But what really draws me back is the personal attention my animals get when they come. Usually we see the same doctor each time we come and she takes the time to communicate with each one. My dogs especially seem to calm down when they see her because she is so soothing to them. I can not imagine taking them anywhere else for their health care.

quality service
Review of: City Motors Mazda-Jeep
First I do have to say the sales staff at City Motors is wonderful. They worked with us in trading our HIGH mileage car and getting a new one. I must admit we were a challenge - but they did everything they could to make it work. They made me a very happy person! That type of customer service carries over to the service department. Granted I have only had oil changes and tire rotations, but the technicians did the services very quickly and professionally. I do feel like I am getting personal attention when I bring my car back to City Motors.

natural foods
Review of: Deep Roots Market
if you are looking for organic or hard to find foods - look no further. Deep Roots has a nice selection of fresh, organic fruits and vegtables and all natural groceries. They also carry natural hair and skin care products. I like their coffee and tea selection - all natural of course. They are a little higher than the normal grocery, but most of their items can not be found in a normal grocery. try them out for a truly natural experience.

delivery only
Review of: Cabin Crafts Flowers & Gifts
Cabin crafts is a local owned and operated flower delivery service. They are located on NC 87 between Reidsville and Eden. Which is good for me as I have family and friends that live near there. They will do same day delivery if called before 2 pm. They have a limited quanitity of live plants and the cut, fresh flowers are good but not out of this world. I mainly send live plants. The quality is good and the service is excellent. I have called them so much, they usually know what I prefer and give wonderful suggestions. Cabin Crafts is good for local "down home" service.

interesting find
Review of: Roosters Gourmet Market & Gifts
I was looking for a unique gift for a friend that likes cooking. This store has the most unique cooking supplies around. And the interesting find - nestled in the back is a little market where I found awesome desserts. They also make sandwiches-my favorite is the Thanksgiving sandwich - turkey, cranberry, and apples, with swiss. This interesting find is located in the Target shopping center beside Golden Corral. It is definitely worth a look, even if you are not looking for a gift.

convenient location
Review of: Fitness Today
The only reason I go to this gym is because of the convenient location. I do not get customer support that I am used to at other gyms. I get the feeling that I am lost every time I use this gym. If I did not already know how to use the machines, I would probably hurt myself because I have not had anyone at this gym offer to show me the ropes. This is not the type of gym where I can feel comfortable asking questions - I go in do my workout, and leave. They do have updated machines since they have moved to this new location, but there are some machines that are showing signs of wear and no repair. If you want personalized attention, or any help at all, you can hire a personal trainer here. They do offer classes of different types, but I have not had a chance to try them out. The membership does allow you to use all the Fitness Today gyms in the Triad area. This is just the most convenient for me.

great atmosphere
Review of: Dynamic Fitness
I love going to this gym. It is family owned and operated and not like your "typical" male dominated gym. Everyone that works there knows their stuff and are willing to give helpful suggestions to help improve your workout., or answer questions on the use of any of their machines, or even help with your free-weight workout. All the equipment is kept in top working order. It is small enough that you don't get lost in all the equipment, yet large enough where you don't have to wait for a popular machine to be vacated. Everyone there is supportive of you and your goals.

at least they are nice
Review of: Piedmont Natural Gas
I do not get an option of the gas company I get to use. In my area, I have to use Piedmont Natural Gas as they manage the natural gas lines to the homes. Even though they almost have a monopoly on the service in our area, they do have good customer service. They will send someone to check your meter if you feel your bill is wrong. We had our heat go out one day and called a repairman, that said the gas had been cut off. Piedmont Gas re-imbursed us for the repairman's visit because it was their fault the gas had been shut off. (They had forgotten to cut it back on when they replaced the meter) I' ve got to use Piedmont, but at least they are nice.
