• Great Hotel, Not too Close to Disney!

  Review of: Doubletree Castle Hotel

  The Doubletree Castle Hotel is one of the best in Orlando, and very close to the Disney Resort. They even have a special viewing area for the fireworks over at Disney! The lobby is just beautiful. We noticed that the age of the people staying at this resort were varied. Not just children stay here, every age group was represented and enjoying this wonderful hotel. There was "castle" themed music flowing all around. Don't forget about those delicious Doubletree cookies! We really had a great time at this resort, and would really recommend this to anyone who wants to get away from the bustle of the Disney resorts for a few days!

• Trump Knows Best

  Review of: Trump International Hotel and Tower

  My husband and I stayed at the Trump International on a very special vacation to the city. We never wanted to leave the hotel! Everything was absolutely Trump quality! The entire hotel was decorated with class and style. The guest suites are wonderful! Our room had a view of Central Park, and even had a telescope for closer inspection. There was ample closet room, and the closet was already stocked with an umbrella, slippers, and cloth laundry bags. The bathroom was decorated with marble tile and gold fixtures. The bath towels were of a generous size, and there were bath amenities everywhere, including shampoos, soaps, bath salts, and cotton balls. We just loved this place and we will return!

• They Have a Little of Everything

  Review of: Bristol Antiques

  Bristol Antiques is a great place to spend a Saturday. I just love to look at all of the antiques and shop around for unusual items. This place has a little of everything! The staff is always so friendly and eager to help you find that special item for your collection. If you can't find what you want, they will be sure to try to find it for you, or keep you in mind when something new comes in. They are always busy, and there is always something new to look at when you visit. Shopping on a weekday, like Wednesday, is the best time, I have found.

• SpringHill Suites

  Review of: Nashville Springhill Suites by Marriott

  My family and I visited Nashville for New Years and stayed at the SpringHill Suites near the Nashville International Airport. The hotel was great! They have a large indoor pool that my neice really loved. They have the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in! Only the best bedding is used at this hotel. The rooms are 25% larger than most hotels (according to their brochure) and the room included a wetbar with fridge, a desk with free high speed internet, 2 telephone lines, 2 televisions, a seperate living room area with pull out sofa, and a really great bathroom and vanity area! They have free hot breakfast every morning, including cereal, doughnuts, bagels, juice, coffee, sausage, eggs, waffels, soft drinks, biscuits and gravy, and lots more! We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel!

• Nightly Rentals

  Review of: Twin Mountain Cabin Rentals

  We had taken a quick trip to Pigeon Forge with last minute notice. We did not have hotel reservations, so we needed to find something when we arrived. We had never stayed in a cabin before, so we decided to check it out. We stopped at many cabin rental agencies, and they all had a 2 night minimum. We decided to try Twin Mountain, and they gladly let us rent for one night only. We were not charged a cleaning fee, either. They do not accept pets.

  I have purchased many dresses from Lid'l Dolly's Dresses for my neice. They are sooo beautiful. They are a little on the pricey side, but a lot of times they have sales and we are able to get them at an extremely low cost. They have all accessories to match the dresses, socks, hair accessories, etc. Their selection of colors and styles is great!

• Clean and Secluded!

  Review of: Aunt Bugs Log Cabin Rental

  Aunt Bug's Log Cabin Rentals are some of the best cabins that we have stayed in. They frequently have specials during the week and in off-season months. The cabins that we have stayed in were large, clean, and secluded. Their cabins have hot tubs out on the porch, which is nice anytime of the year. They do charge a cleaning fee, whereas many other log cabin rental companies do not.

  Kiser Furniture Company has one of the biggest selections of furniture in this area. They have all of the major brands, too. Their staff are definately helpful and kind. Several of my family members have purchased numerous pieces of furniture from them and are very pleased with the service and quality of the merchandise.

  Mullins Jewelry has some really unique jewelry! I have purchased a few pieces from them over the years and I always get great compliments on them. Their staff is always great and helpful, and their prices are average for this area. I would always recommend Mullins Jewelry to anyone who is looking for something different.
