With a number of car wash shops opening in the area, I tried this one a bit further away, and it was worth it. If you get there early, the regular wash is only $8. They also have coupons in the local paper. This is a few dollars less than a number of other places. It was less crowded and they did an excellent job in a shorter amount of time. I will continue to go here

I give this car wash credit for being one of the first in the area, quite a few more have opened recently. They have a good system going on, all of the men there are always working. They have a nice clean waiting room, which was good since there was usually a wait. Only problem was that the attention to detail was not always consistent. One time they would scrape the sticker residue from the inside, the next time I would have to come back to ask someone to wipe the dashboard. Pricier than the new competition.

I've found it difficult to find a reasonable hair salon in the city, with cuts at least $50 and highlights much more. This salon is actually for the students of Aveda beauty school to get experience. All of thier work is supervised by an instructor. They also offer spa services. A haircut is about $13. Be prepared to spend more time in the chair, since the stylist new and a bit slower. Also you will be more successful if you know what you want, rather than relying on the stylist to decide. Also, the hours of the salon are much better than many other beauty schools that offer services.

All of the stylists I used have left, and their "color expert" turned my hair fire-engine red a month before my wedding. The stylist who fixed it couldn't believe the poor color job. I won't take that chance again!

I wasn't overly impressed with the highlights either. They had a great woman doing eyebrows, and her replacement just isn't the same.
