  B & H is absolutely without a doubt the best place to shop for all your camera needs. They have a huge selection of equipment for all your photo needs and at good prices. They also sell video and computer equipment. If you are in the market for used items, they sell that also on the second floor. The place can get pretty busy but there isn't really a long wait because they are very efficent. The staff is also really knowledgable.

  Review of: Alice's Haircare

  I went to Alice's because I was wanted to find a place closer to work to get my haircuts. The prices are reasonable for the neighborhood it is in and the staff there are very nice. The stylist paid attention to what I wanted and gave alot of opinion in what would look good on me. It turned out to be a pretty good haircut and I would definitely go back.

  Alice Undergroung is a pretty big store that looks like a warehouse. It has two floors fill with some vintage clothing and much more. They have tons of t-shirts, skirts, sneakers, and more. The pricing is reasonable so you won't go broke in this store. They have all the t-shirts with the classic 80's cartoon designs such as Carebears, strawberry shortcake, alvin and the chipmucks, and so much more. It was so happy to find this store because I was looking for t-shirts like that all over the place.

  Review of: Adorama Inc

  Adorama is a great shop for cameras and supplies. They sell almost everything in there for the professionals. They have film and digital cameras and the staff is pretty knowledgeable. They sell alot of development equipment. In the back of the store they rent cameras and equpiment if you are in need of rentals. There pricing is not bad. They also sell used cameras and they are kept in really good condition.

• Abracadabra Magic

  Review of: ABRACADABRA MAGIC & COSTUMES

  Abracadabra is one of the best places in the city to find a costume. It is a store everyone should visit at least once. They have a huge selection of costumes and magic tricks. They sell stuff such as coin tricks, fake finger slicers, books, and other gag items. Its a pretty fun store to go to and look around. It would probably be a great place to go for Halloween but I'd imagine it would be packed with pople.

  ABC Carpet & Home is just not you everyday carpet store. They sell practically everything you would need for your home such as antiques, pillows, home decor, furniture, bedding, linens, gardening accessories, crystal, silver, housewares, and gifts.
  
  Some of them items in this store are overprice and not worth it. Alot of the items could be found at cheaper prices at other stores. They sometimes do have sales and occasionally you would be able to find a great deal.

  Optical 88 has been the only place me and my family go to get our eyeglasses and frames. The people there are always friendly and helpful when picking out frames. They are patient and help you decide what looks best on you. If you buy your eyeglasses from them you get a free eye exam. They are really quick and you can have your glasses ready for pick sometimes within the hour. Sometimes it might take a few days if what you want is not in stock, but its not a really long wait. If you ever have problems with your eyeglasses you can always go to them have then fixed it for free with no hassle.

• Gift Baskets

  This store is one of those great gift ideas for that special someone. Sometimes you can run out of ideas on what to get a person, but who doen't live a gift basket! I know I do and this place have great filler items and decorative ideas to fill that basket up. The only word of caution is that it can get pricey fast. So becareful not to go broke on one basket. The employees are really nice though and helpful.

  This is a great store for people to see things from there childhood. I love the sign on the door that warns "Unattended children will be sold as slaves". It is wall to wall of vintage items, such as old magazines(Playboy, Time), old toys from MAcdonalds or Burger king, vintage clothing, figures, lunch boxes. You can items from Care Bears, Pez dispensers, Batman, superman, Smurfs, Happy Days, Elvis, and many many more!

  Review of: Pacific Aquarium & Plant Incorporated

  This fish stores has a lot of different varieties of fish to choose from. The staff is also very knowledgeable and always willing to answer any questions you might have. This store is better then going to a Petland or some other national chain store. Everytime I would get a fish from Petland it would always die within a few days. You can tell they didn't do a good job with the fish. But with Pacific I never had that problem at all. And the employees provide great help in the care of them.
