I just had the absolute best sno-cone (shaved ice, sugar free syrup) at the Rose Garden in Portland. I know that doesn't help here in Seattle but just in case you're heading that way.....
Good luck!

I can't believe I only found this store today. Needless to say, I made up for lost time. :)
This women's clothing store in the University District has the most stylish, flattering, comfortable, and here's the kicker, inexpensive clothes in town!
I don't go out much, unless you count the park, the gym, the zoo...you get my drift...so when I do go to dinner or out for drinks, I want to look "hip", without paying an arm and a leg. Enter Pitaya. The soft, casual but nice looking, knits sold in this store are one of a kind. There are a range of colors, prints, solids and styles of t-shirts, dresses, skirts and pants. And as mentioned above, the prices are unbelievable!
Another plus is that the clothes are displayed in color groupings which makes shopping easy. If you see a dress you like in blue, but would rather have it in green, over to the green section you go to look for it.
In addition to the clothing, there are accessories, such as shoes, jewelry and handbags.
If you're in the U-District, you've probably already paid for parking, so why not take an extra few minutes to give Pitaya a look! You'll be glad you did!

What's wrong with a black turtleneck? S-E-X-Y.
Are you looking to totally change your style or are you just searching for something new to wear when you go out to the Little Red Hen? ;)

I think you're a Kenneth Cole kind of guy....or at least you should be. Clean yet "hip" looks, both casual and dressy choices, great leather goods (shoes, wallets, etc.), not too expensive and finally, the man isn't afraid to speak his mind about social causes which makes me want you to support him.
Happy shopping!

Kate Spade handbags at Costco!
Now THIS makes for a Happy Holiday! Don't expect a big selection but holy moly, it's true. And you know Costco - what's there today could be discontinued tomorrow, so hurry!

Also, check out the website for the band Penga (www.penga.dreamhost.com). There isn't much info. but there is an e-mail address. I *think* they're located in the San Juan Islands and they are AWESOME!

This is an easy one. Get a brand spankin' new Honda Odyssey from Shelia Locke at Honda of Bellevue. I think our entire transaction took about 2 hours. She is no-nonsense yet personable, customer service is great (although we've had NO problems w/ our van, just regular maintenance) and the Odyssey is, well, just flat out the best mini van out there.
For the record, I'm jealous if you get a van that has a remote open back door.

I have a 2002 Honda Odyssey and I absolutely love it. I would buy a new one each year if it was feasible. Since you've done a lot of research I'm going to tell you why I like mine: automatic sliding side doors, flip up tray between the driver and passenger seats, cup holders everywhere, huge cargo space in back well, power off the line (if you so desire) and great crash test rating.
The one thing I wish it had was the automatic back hatch. Maybe the newer ones have it?
All this said, if for no other reason, you should buy the Odyssey because of the new kick a@* commercial. It rocks!
Good luck and have fun!

Yes, pregnant women can wear "panties" too! They don't need to wear fabric barrels hoisted up over their expanding tummies.
Japanese Weekend under the belly maternity underwear are SO comfortable! They aren't expensive and they hold up very well (even under the pressure of a belly filled with TWO babes!)
I also give a thumbs up to the Bravada nursing bra. It's comfortable and very easy to "use", if you will.
I know Village Maternity carries Japanese Weekend, but I got my Bravada bras at Birth & Beyond on Madison.
Village Maternity also has great maternity clothes, most a bit dressier but all very stylish.

In my pre-low carb life, this was my all out, hands down favorite place to get a sweet treat. It's a Tom Douglas restaurant, so I need not say more, but I will anyway. They have cookies, muffins, pastries and breads as well as cakes and pies in their entirety or a single serving. You can shop in the bakery or call in your order and they do special holiday orders as well. Absolutely DELICIOUS! I believe they also serve sandwiches now too and although I haven't tried them, I can't imagine they're anything but tasty. YUM!
