This small firm is a very good one to go to for estate planning purposes. The attorneys do nothing but estate planning, so they are very knowledgable about the latest laws and regulations and take the time to make sure you understand everything. Also the consultation is free (and so are phone calls) and they have a few locations so you don't have to go far. If you become a client they hold seminars for you yearly so that you can make sure your trust and wills are up to date.

My space center visit was ok. I wasn't sure what to expect. We took a little ride over to mission control (no longer used as such) and that was pretty cool. A lot of the exhibits would be fun for young kids. We watched a couple movies they had available for viewing which were good.

If you visit New York you can't skip the trip to Ellis Island Museum. The whole place is full of history and we spent about 3 hours walking around learning interesting things about the immigration to America and the start of our country. Since most if not all Americans have ancesters who came through Ellis Island on their way to America, the museum holds special meaning and in the great hall you can feel the energy and hope that drove those millions to come to a new world. Fascinating bit of American history.

This is one of my favorite amusement parks around. The last time I went, it was in December and relatively empty so I was able to go on most of the rides a couple times. My favorite is the Goliath, but I love pretty much all of them including the X ride which I liked a lot but my husband said it made him sick. California is a great place for it because of the wonderful weather - even when you have to wait in line you don't die of heat or cold ever.

Once in a lifetime visit
If you do have two hours to kill, the view from the observatory is great - I could even see my home on the upper west side. Times Square and the major NY areas look amazing from up that high....

However, I went with my family in November and it was downright freezing out there and after waiting so long we only stayed a few minutes. It's all about the experience though right? I recommend not going on a weekend (let alone a holiday weekend!) or at night and you have a good shot of getting up there in a short period of time.

I took at tour of these apartments when looking for a place to live. The reception we recieved upon arrival at the front office was less than warm and bordering on complete snobbery. We were then sent on a golf cart tour with an employee who didn't even know his way around the property and we ended up going around and around in circles to find the show apartment, and this was not pleasant because Arizona in summer is HOT! The apartment was the smallest thing I'd ever encountered. For the price I thought it would be a palace. Needless to say I went elsewhere for my housing needs.

I have some friends who live in these apartments and like it, so I checked it out when looking for a new place. We called but couldn't get anyone to answer the phone. I left a message but no one ever...
I have some friends who live in these apartments and like it, so I checked it out when looking for a new place. We called but couldn't get anyone to answer the phone. I left a message but no one ever called me back. I stopped by, during office hours, but there was no one to be found and the place was locked up. I gave it one more try and again no one was around. Weird!

Questionable management
When I lived at Liberty Square I didn't have that great of an experience with the management. A huge amount of construction was going on during the year I lived there but they made no rent allowance...
When I lived at Liberty Square I didn't have that great of an experience with the management. A huge amount of construction was going on during the year I lived there but they made no rent allowance for it. The carpet needed to be updated badly and they finally did it a month before I left and replaced it with this hard stuff. They actually moved people into our apartment without telling anyone about it.

Although this store may be too high priced for 90 percent of New Yorkers to actually buy things, it is a treat to pretend you can afford it by browsing the racks of unique clothing and jewelry and taking the spiral staircase up the many flights of costly goods. The salespeople won't bother you if you don't look like a celebrity anyway...
