Nothing makes you feel like a kid again more than running through a giant maze! The maze is located right next to the putt-putt course at Coconut Creek and both events are offered for a discounted price. The maze is made of plastic walls and the course is changed often. When you enter you slide your card into a time slot to record what time you started. Your goal is to find the four locations which are all on wooden platforms. At each location you stamp your card and when you've found all four you have to find the exit. As you leave you slide your card back into the time slot to see how long it took you to complete the maze. It's really fun and worth the money. We do it everytime we're in Panama City Beach. Cocunut Creek is a great place for Putt-Putt. They have two courses that each offer both challenging and relatively easy holes. The courses are fun and entertaining. They have caves, bridges and animal statues. Every 4 holes or so they have an ashtray attaches to a pole and they have a gazebo at the center of each course for relaxing before you continue (this is especially nice on hot days.) Country's is a great barbecue place in Auburn. They have plenty of seating and a very large smoking section. There prices are great and they have tons of options for sides including potato salad, fried okra, brunswick stew, baked beans, slaw, fries, baked sweet potato etc... They have pork, chicken, ribs and sausage. They also have a vegetable plate so you can get an assortment of sides as your meal. Country's has a good healthy menu and great service. They also have a huge rocking chair that you can have your picture taken in.

The Gnu's Room is a great store to go into and just browse at books. They don't carry new books, only old, used and sometimes hard to find ones. You can almost always find a treasure in there but don't go looking for something in particular. Even if they have it they won't be able to tell you where. It's a tiny shop that has about three times more books than a shop that size should hold. The shelves are very close together and the rooms are hard to navigate between. If you love books though and like to treasure hunt then Gnu's Room is great!

Hastings is by far my favorite store in Auburn. I'm almost putting off moving just because I'll miss it! They have books, movies, video games, cds, games, software, religious paraphernalia, candy, t-shirts, guitar equipment and more. The best part of Hastings is their prices. They have low prices already but they also sell their rentals and used things for even greater discounts. They are constantly running buy one get one half proce, or buy two get one for a penny deals on used rentals and trade-ins. Hastings even has used books! There is a bargain book section that has some great deals.

Books-A-Million is a good place to go if you need a specific book or if you want to browse their discount area. They always have atleast two large tables, and usually more, of discount books. They have the best childrens section in the area so if that's what you're looking for you're in luck. They also have a large magazine rack and board games. Joe's Muggs is the coffee shop in Books-A-Million and it's a great place to get coffee or hot chocolate for while you wander the store or to sit and study or read the new book you just picked up.

Auburn Lanes is currently the only bowling alley in Auburn. The Alley is a typical bowling alley with rented shoes, beer, fried food and decent prices. I love Auburn Lanes but I also love to bowl. There are 24 lanes and smoking is allowed the entire time it is open. It opens at 11 am every day and closes at midnight on week nights and 2 am on weekends. There is a league almost every week night and a Scotch Doubles Tournament every other Saturday during the afternoon. I highly recommend joinging a league if you like to bowl. They have one for just about everybody. Cosmic bowling starts at 9 every night and consists of the house lights being turned off and black lights coming on as well as other light effects, the music also gets louder and takes on more of a dance party sound. The staff is friendly but gets overwhelmed when it's crowded.

IHOP has great breakfast food. They have an entire menu of other food but I've never gotten anything else there. They serve breakfast all day. They are open until midnight Sunday-Tuesday and 24 hours Wednesday-Saturday. The service is REALLY slow but the food is usually worth it. I recommend the Quick Two Egg Breakfast because it comes with 2 eggs, 2 pancakes, 2 slices of sausage or bacon and hashbrowns and is only 4 dollars.

When I first heard of this movie I wasn't sure if it was for kids or adults. Turns out, it's for both! Pirates is hilarious on two levels; there are several jokes that parents get and that kid won't so you get your fun without your kids getting any bad habits or influences. Johnny Depp is fantastic in this movie! He plays a drunk pirate very well. I really enjoyed this movie and watch it over and over again whenever I'm in the mood just to sit back and laugh.
