There are wives from every branch of service here as well as wives that have been active duty themselves.
Discussions go from military posts and housing, finances, day to day activities, planning monthly outings and even playgroups. You will find a variety of women on here, and a few men, that had a tremendous amout of information to share.

We happened upon this resturant with friends one night and gave it a try. The atmosphere is friendly with large round tables for big families to eat at with a lazy susan in the center to share the food. They have smaller rectangle tables to seat a smaller group as well.
The waitress is friendly and quick to get your menu and tea and water. Once the order is taken, you do not have to wait long until your food arrives. I would say 10 minutes has been our timeline. The food is great and the atmosphere is very family orientated and casual.

This is a small pet store, with a variety of selection and helpful and informative employees. It has fish and fish supplies, birds and supplies, and kittens and puppies at times.
They will custom order items for you if it is not in stock and will try and have it to you within 3 days. That is a great turn-around for islanders.
Pricing is very reasonable, and pets seem to be of excellent quality and health.

Shops range from t-shirts and shorts, home decor, oriental clothing, and jewelry. The prices are right for most items, with t-shirts selling at a lot price of 10 for $20! That is a deal!
The handmade artwork is amazing...coconut and coconut postcards are favorites. Not to mention the sized for you Hawaiian jewelry!
