I've stopped in to do some shopping, I've been warmly greeted by the owners &/or employees of Antiques On The Square. There are all sorts of antiques & treasures to be found. If you're lucky, one of the owners, who really knows his or her stuff will be there. Lots of great local info too!
note: This store is one of the last good stores in "downtown" Nappanee. I only hope that the chamber of commerce will get off their tushies to save down town instead of ignoring the problem or making plans to re-do the sidewalks. It's not the sidewalks that are keeping people away. It's the lack of advertising & community awareness that doesn't drive in business!

Dalton Automotive offers good, honest work on your vehicle. They explain everything, offer alternatives if needed and get the job done right.
I highly recommend Dalton Automotive to any person that wants their vehicle repaired right and at an honest price. You don't have to be afraid that they will over-charge you or not do the work right. It's nice to find an auto shop that makes you feel right at home.

This delightful treasure of a bakery & café is located right in the heart of Marietta Square. I was invited by a friend to join her for a late breakfast. Open the door & you're greeted by an Australian "G'Day Mate" or old fashioned "Hey ya'll!".
The menu is up on the wall behind the main counter to take a gander over while trying to decide exactly what you're hungry for (hint: everything!). There are plenty of traditional "____ pies" (insert meat, egg, cheese, whatever you like) available & made fresh daily. For those who have NEVER seen one, it looks a bit like a Pizza Hut pizza's 4 in 1 pizza. (I'm sure Pizza Hut took the idea! LOL).
Pick from some of the most delicious Aussie pies or other delightful desserts, pastries or lunch specials. I've been told that Vegemite is an "acquired" taste & am too chicken to try it. I enjoyed a delicious egg, mushroom, ham & onion Aussie pie. The server asked if I'd like some extra fresh cheese on mine; it tasted fantastic!
While you're eating, enjoy the Australian theme decor. It's fun to look at all of the Aussie artwork, photos & knick-knacks.
Kids are welcome too!
I'll be back to try the many different menu items like the "Croc Hunter's Special" & an Outback Pepper jack Chicken pie.
If you go to their web page, look for the Kids' Korner. Print out one of the Australian animal coloring pages & have your child color it. Visit the Australian Bakery Cafe & show them the artwork. They'll give your child a free Aussie Cookie.

Back in the fall of 1999, my husband & my pregnant self were shopping around for a new mattress set.
We had a full sized set that was horrible! It was a hand-me-down from my family when we got married.
At 6 mo. pregnant, I was miserable nearly every night. I had the "egg crate" bed covering, a body pillow & a fe more pillows strategically placed to help my pregnant self. My hubby was beginning to sleep on our futon. This was not in the plan!
We found a Select Comfort bed at a Bed, Bath & Beyond Store & listened to a sales person talk about the benefits to another couple. We returned a few days later to ask some more questions & then order our King-Sized pillow top deluxe model w/ foundation & frame.
It came in the mail within a few days! I don't remember if it was USPS or UPS, but it came in 2 large boxes.
It took my husband about 1 hour to set it all up...and the blissful sleep began! I am not joking when I say that if you don't sleep well in this bed- you are either totally stressed out by something - mentally or something you ate or drank. It only took two nights for me to find my absolutely wonderful number (setting).
It was night & day for my hubby and me! He likes his side firm, I'm talking F-I-R-M. I'd say around a 60-70. I like mine set to 35-45 depending on how I'm feeling. The best part about being pregnant & having this particular bed was that I adjusted the firmness throughout the remainder of my pregnancy. And I also did the same through my two other babies. Talk about wonderful.
Oh another wonderful thing about this mattress...it's so light- which means changing your bed sheets is a snap. And moving your mattress is easy too! If you ever decide to pack up your things & move, THIS IS the mattress set you want to move! The air chambers deflate & the packing up of the unit is a snap!
If you're an allergy sufferer- you can easily zip off the top of the mattress to vacuum out the inside of the mattress. It really is that easy!
Nearly every night when I crawl into my lovely bed, I can be heard saying "I love this bed!" and I mean it!
Even family that comes for a visit wants to nap on our bed. We'll eventually be purchasing more Sleep by Number/Select Comfort mattress sets for our guests and children's beds.
I LOVE THIS BED! I will NOT go back to traditional or water bed mattresses again- unless I am a guest at someone's home.

Michael is a photographer, writer & honest American that tells it like it really is "over there". He is not paid by any newspapers to write stories. He's writing because he wants to get the truth out there.
He's even had one of his photos "stolen" (used with out permission) by a major trashy French Magazine Publisher.
The media forgets to focus on our soldiers doing more than just their job. Michael Yon's stories and photos are exactly what the public needs to read & view.

The staff is very knowledgable about their products. I have asked many questions and had them answered or a solution found quickly. Gift items, note cards, videos, music, Bibles (of course!), reference guides, inspirational books, fiction & non-fiction too...you can find it all here.
Best of all, they occassionally have CD release signings with the artists there. I was able to meet ALL of the members of Casting Crowns & get their autographs! Again the staff of Lifeway was more than gracious to its guests and customers.
