Businiess name:  PEOPLES BANK
Review by:  L B.
Review content:
I always dread going to the bank. The sterile flourescent lobby, the bored tellers who make you feel like an idiot if you don't have everything filled out just perfect, the long lines. People's Bank in Magnolia is the complete opposite. A warm, inviting space, friendly tellers who get to know you by sight and name, no lines, and smiling pleasant answers to even the most ignorant questions. This is probably what it felt like to go into the bank run by Jimmy Stewart in "It's a Wonderful Life". I thought that this welcoming community atmosphere had disappeared in the wake of corporate mergers and globalization. What a pleasant surprise to walk into People's Bank and find that it is still alive and well in my community. Oh, and their rates are competitive too!!!
