If you love your dog, don't take him here! Like some of the other reviewers, this is my first post and I'm submitting it in hopes you don't go through what we did. Here's what we experienced: 1. Unprofessional and rude owner: the owner was dismissive of us when we arrived and would not show us the play area and was even reluctant to show us pictures. She also clearly didn't listen to our instructions. After a month of calls, they finally left us a voicemail saying that we had already been responded to (not true). We called again and the follow up was an unapologetic email explaining the following. 2. Sick puppy: we told the owner that our dog could only eat the treats and food we provided. At pick up, neither had been eaten. It took us a month of calls to learn that they "couldn't find the food" we provided and so gave him their food. He had diarrhea for a week. (Thanks, pooch hotel for the unnecessary vet bills!) 3. Bleeding toenails: we asked why his toenails were bleeding when we picked him up. They reviewed the security camera and said our dog was clawing at the cage. Their explanation was separation anxiety. At what point does a compassionate person stop a dog from injuring itself??? Especially when we said, please call us if anything goes wrong or if he's not adjusting and we'll pick him up. They didn't bother and he painful walks the rest of the week. They failed to meet the standard of care they were bound by, made us think they hate their jobs and maybe even the dogs, and lost our respect - and definitely our business!
