this is a beautiful b and b. it's walking distance to downtown santa cruz, but it's set up in such a way that you feel you're out in nature. it has a huge water wheel and a babbling brook (hence the name) that masks any sound of traffic from broadway. the rooms are gorgeous and tastefully decorated. the proprietors take their job very seriously and make sure that every guest is treated with care and personal attention. highly recommended for anyone looking for a very nice place to stay in the heart of santa cruz.
