Master ice cream maker Jon Snyder has done it again. After selling his Ciao Bella empire, he opened up a small ice cream shop located down in the incredibly hip lower east side just a stone throw away from the Tenement Museum. Two great reasons to make your way downtown. Well worth the trip. Where else will you get to sample flavors like watermelon, licorice, and mission fig. Call ahead and find out what the Gelato de jour is. It's always a delicious mystery.
