Review content:
The Shotgun Players of Berkeley, California have been putting on shows for quite a while. They started approximately 10 years ago, and played such dives as pizza restaurant basements and city parks before finally landing a home last year at the Ashby Stage on Ashby in Berkeley.
Their lineup of shows is impressive. Last year, their "Death of Meyerhold" was knocking the critics out with their amazing interpretation of this new play.
This summer, they return to John Hinkel park in Berkeley for an outdoor performance of "Cyrano de Bergerac". Then in the Fall, they return to the Ashby Stage with "Owners".
Most of the Shotgun Players' show this season are free, with a suggested donation at the door.
