Businiess name:  Marden's Surplus & Salvage
Review by:  Michelle F.
Review content:
Marden's in Brewer, Maine has something for everyone. It's a salvage store with deep discounted products such as food (name brand cereals, candy, rice, soups, etc.), clothing (name brands such as Gap, Levis, Calvin Klein, etc.), shoes (Reebox, Sketchers, Fila, Adidas, etc.), toys, fabrics, bedding, office supplies, household goods, jewelry, hardware, cleaning supplies, health and beauty products, furniture, and carpeting (they even install). It's hard to come out of Marden's empty handed. I get the kids all their shoes/sneakers/boots at Marden's really cheap. A pair of Reebox basketball sneakers that would normally cost me almost $50 at any other retail outlet only cost me $20 at Mardens! Boots run around $10! You can get 66 minute phone cards (AT&T) for only $1.50! I pick up candy bars for 5 for $1.00 - now where can you get a deal like that! The bargains are endless. You have to go almost every week because they get in new stuff all the time. If you see a good deal one day it can be gone the next, so grab it while you can. Whether your a local or a tourist it's a must stop at store. When we have company come to visit, they always ask if they can go to Marden's.
