I golfed 18 holes at this beautiful course on August 7th while up in Port Austin, MI for the weekend. This golf club is top notch, it is just beautiful and very well kept. It is a semi-private course so they do have a dress code, which is fine as long as the golfers know this ahead of time so they can dress properly (collared shirts are a must). The setting of this course if just beauitful, the fairways are tree lined, each hole is unique and well groomed. This course has lockers rooms that are just amazing, very clean and in such a relaxed setting, perfect for getting ready for your day of golf and unwinding after a long day on the course. I do have one complaint and that is that they did not allow you to bring coolers on the course, which is fine, but they did not have anyone coming around with cold drinks and such, you could eat at the turn but that didn't help when it was over 90 degress and by the 3rd hole the drink you started with was hot as can be, I did not like this one bit, if they are not going to allow coolers then they should make sure to have someone coming around with a drink/snack cart periodically. I would probably golf here again but in cooler weather, it was too hot to be so thirsty most of the time.
