Businiess name:  Film Center
Review by:  Jessica C.
Review content:
About two years ago my husband's 35 mm camera broke and my mother in law took it to the film center for service. The salesperson at the Film Center advised her to a get the camera repaired, which would cost about $100. My mother in law agreed and the service was done for the price quoted. The problem with this experience is that after recieving the repaired camera my husband did some research and found out that the camera in working condition could be purchased for around $100. While I'm sure that the arguement could be made that the repair was jusified, I think an honest business person would have informed my mother in law that the price of the repair was the same (or more) than the worth of the camera. My husband complained to the film center, but they insisted that the repair was justified. I feel that a more honest business would have been more upfront with a customer about the value of the camera considering the cost of the repair. Basically, I was disappointed with their advice to my mother in law.
