EZ Auto Sales looks like many other used car lots, but where it differs is in the pricing and in the generosity of the owner. Many of the cars on the lot can be purchased for under $2000, and several are much cheaper than that. All of the cars run, and the owner is very upfront about any problems that any of the cars have--which is kind of rare in the car business.
The owner and sales associates take their time with the customers, trying hard to find a vehicle that will fit the customer's needs. When we shopped for a vehicle there, the owner had my husband test-drive several cars and told him about several more before we made a decision. We bargained some, and the owner cheerfully came down some on the price.
What really stands out, though, is the excellent customer service at EZ Auto Sales. Most (if not all) of their vehicles are sold "As Is", which is customary for used car lots. So, the vehicle we purchased did not have any kind of guarantee or warantee. We were quite surprised and upset when, a few days after the purchase, the heater went out on the car. After calling around and finding that the price to fix this would be close to $800, my husband decided to call EZ Auto Sales to see if there was anything they would do. To our great surprise, the owner responded by telling us to bring the car in and he would fix the heat problem, no charge! The owner felt that it would not be fair for us to incur such a huge problem so soon after our purchase, so he was kind enough to fix it for us--now that is great customer service!
