I have been put through the ringer. and I mean this in the best possible way. Seriously. If you want a massage that can really pinpoint areas given by very well trained sports massage specialists, then this is your place. Do you have to be an "athlete" to come here? Hell no. I know many an athlete that has benefitting from visiting this place, but your average, everyday mortal can also benefit from these targeted techniques. Is it going to be all "trickling fountain in the background, time to go to sleep"? no. Are you going to feel some serious work being done to problem areas? yup. Sean (Shawn? Shaun? - sorry!) spent time on the areas I had noted in my form and really made notable progress on alleviating some tightness. He found some new spots where I did not know I was tight, but I think it brings joy to massage therapists to find those happy little spots, don't you agree? He showed me a little stretch I could do for my fasciitis tendon that will help me as I put in longer miles in training. He spent time on my very abused lower back and my even more abused shoulders. I finished the session feeling a bit sore, but for the better. This place is clean, there seems to be ample parking, it is easy to get to (right across from Rainbow Market) and I look forward to my next session. Pros: knowledgeable, experienced Cons: no fluffy robes and slippers. ;)
