I am not exaggerating the following review. Everything I state is factual about King family pawn in Carrollton TX. This operation is very unethical and un unprofessional. First time I went there a few years ago for a loan. they lied to me about the terms in which I could pay back the loan on items I pawned.
They (the owner) said because of a new law, they could only except payment in 2 forms, I could pay the interest only and extend the loan until I could pay the loan back in full. I was never allowed to pay down the principle.
I lost my items. I think he knew I was broke and desperate so he took advantage of me.
I was stupid and went back again a year later, I pawned 2 items. They sold one of the items (actually stole) after closing on the day my payment was due. I had been paying the loan down for over a year. They knew I was coming to pay it.
Please don't support this business by making purchases, loans, or selling your valuables. This is not where you will find a fair deal. They take advantage of people who are already having hard times. That is the most shameful way to make a living I can imagine.
