I read the negative reviews and thought they just might be a little harsh. I signed up for a massages for my daughter and me. When we walked down the hall to the spa, the carpet was filthy and the walls were just as bad. When we entered the "spa" there were stains all over the very small, crowded, dirty and messy reception area - if you can call it that! There were two teenaged girls who acted like they were doing us a favor by acknowledging our presence. Our appointment was early in the morning, however when we went into the waiting area and there were left over dirty cups and dust on the tables. We waited about 20 minutes for our treatments and at no time did anyone from the spa walk through to pick up the trash or straighten up the area. My daughter had a good massage but I chose refelxology and the technician stated that next time I should get a massage! When we checked out we found the "receptionists" just as nonchalant as when we entered. I run a business and have a few tips for Lynn's Spa: 1. The receptionists are the face of your business. You need to ensure that they are professional and helpful. 2. The entry into your space should be pristine and welcoming - not dirty! 3. The waiting area should be cleaned of dust and dirty napkins, crumbs and used cups. 4. A spa is supposed to be welcoming and relaxing. I found it no better than an HMO where the patients sit in a waiting room waiting to be called for the next appointment. The spa has absolutely no class and I will never spend another penny in there!
