Businiess name:  UPMC Shadyside Family Health Center

Review content:
I went to Shadyside Family Health Center because I didn't have any particular doctor preference and needed a general checkup. They have a bunch of "interns" or whatever the medical term for them is (residents, maybe?). The problem with this system is that the doctors come and go after a couple of years. There is no chance to build a relationship or history with your doctor. This can be convenient because you can get an appointment very quickly. On the other hand, the doctors I saw there didn't seem very knowledgeable. I'm sure they were basically competent but when I ask for a reference to a specialist, they had no personal knowledge of good doctors in the area. They were clearly just serving their time here and then moving on.
