Review content:
It's up in Wake Forest, just a few minutes north of I540. It's a smaller privately owned zoo with lots of animals you can feed, and look at up close. The bears wait by the tubes you can drop food down. And you can feed llamas and goats, as well as pet a whole menagerie of animals. There are horse rides, and peacocks roaming the premises. The big cats are in smaller cages, but in some ways that's cooler, because you're closer to the action as it were. My kids loved it because it didn't involve a ton of walking, and it's a zoo that can easily be "done" in a couple of hours.
