Review content:
I have been taking my dogs (prior and current) for low cost vaccines and baths to the Dog Wash for a number of years. I called County Acres Kennels yesterday because I thought I might take my dog to the Kennels for her bath this time and look at the facility since I need someone to look after my dog while I will be gone on vacation in June. Bath cost $15.00 including trim of nails. I needed a $15.00 shot for the K-9 Flu (which my vet had stated I didn't need before because she wasn't around other dogs usually). I understood now she would need the Flu shot. That would total $30. When I picked her up the bill was $40. Why $40, I was told there was a mandatory walk-in minimum charge of $25. When is $30 not over the $25 manditory charge?, and besides why was I considered a walk in since I had called ahead and sceduled to bring my dog in for grooming and looking at the facitities. Why do they not let you know that there in a minimum charge before you have any services done? I was UPSET but paid the $40 nothing else to do at the time but I will not use their services no matter how many years they have been around. I don't believe I want to ever go back to the Dog Wash either since it is owned by the same responsible parties. Truly was a disappointment.
