"I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream for Ice Cream." That's the phrase that comes to mind as you step down to the lower floor of Mizner Park and come to find this lil ice cream shop. Conveniently located next to the movie-theater, this ice cream shop makes a great stop for any couple after their first movie date. The ice cream is top notch, their selection is great, and they even have yogurt and low calorie ice cream alternatives. Aside from ice cream, you'll find several candy and pastry delights in Sloan's, including Marsipan and chocolate covered pretzels and marshmallows. Be aware, this place is packed during the summer and on the weekends, especially after a movie gets out or dinner ends. There's always lots of little screaming kids and the prices are steep (then again, everything is expensive at Mizner Park). Still, the quality of the ice cream is unmatched by any other ice cream shop in the area and the presentation and selection is definitely worth the cost. My recommendation? Their "Cookie Monster" Vanilla Ice Cream. So, if you are out shopping during the afternoon or just finished catching a movie at Mizner Park, beat the summer heat by stopping by Sloan's for an old-fashioned ice cream treat.
