Nestled in the center of Lebanon New Hampshire is a great Trattoria, Three Tomatoes. Open for lunch and dinner this Italian gathering place is the perfect place to meet for a business lunch or with a friend to discuss lifes happenings. This is not your fast food establishment and that is refreshing. To start we were served warm crusty bread with olive dipping oil flavored with a hint of garlic and basil. Next, an antipasta with hard salami, two kinds of olives, fresh mozzarella cheese, artichokes, roasted red peppers and tomatoes. This was sprinkled with olive oil and spices. The perfect amount to share and absolutely delicious. Spaghetti Bolanese and baked flounder in an Italian creamy sauce completed our main course Both were exceptional and in true Italian tradition, large portions. For dessert I selected the lemon cake. This is a very light sponge cake with a mousse filling and frosting that not only cleansed the palette but satisfied my sugar dessert craving. The gelato of the day was also very spectacular. Many traditional Italian dessert are offered and each looked delightful. I recommend Three Tomatoes as a place to meet, eat and have a great glass of wine.
