Do not live here! Do not even apply. They will try to trick you out of your money. If you have applied, DO NOT SIGN THE LEASE!!! After my roommate and I had paid our application fees and were about to sign the lease, our third roommate bailed on us and said he didn't want to live there. Seeing as we had paid the application fee not five minutes before, the employee in the office said we could hold off signing the lease and even offered to return my roommate's application fee (he paid in cash). I had paid the application fee online in the office because I was paying by credit card. When I asked for a refund, the office employee said he did not know how to refund a credit card. I called the next day and he said he had figured out how to refund the card, but he would not because he said the money was already deposited. When I protested and reminded him that 1) I had asked for the money back before it was deposited and 2) he had already refunded my roommate, the office agent only replied that it was "policy" and that I knew the application fee was non-refundable when I paid. They were extremely rude and useless, and I am still out $100. Needless to say I will NOT be living at Clemson Place EVER! Pros: None Cons: Dishonest
