Worst insurance I ever have. This insurance will find every technical issues to stay away from paying your claim. Most of their reason from denying the claims is pre-existing condition. Just for physical examination and immunization as required by the school for my two children, they only paid the immunization for $39 but the services of the doctor for the children totaling of $300, they sent me forms to list the name of doctors and prescriptions taken for six months prior to the commencement of the insurance. I know they are looking for technical issues to stay away from paying the claim of physical examination services. I faxed the forms back the day after I received it. To my surprise, when I called them back four days after to check the status, they said there's no indication that they recieved the faxed. Rediculous! They gave me another number and I faxed them again to that number including the prevoius successful fax log. I have five friends telling me that they had the same situation and their claims were all denied because of the reason for pre-existing conditions. They asked one paper then after you furnished them with such document, they asked another document and they will do the same after you can comply with the previous required documents until your claim will reach the 45 days when they can consider it as closed. You cannot do anything after it reaches 45 days from the claim. Smart move for them to deny the claim. One of my firends have gastrititis but he never experienced this before but they still considered it as pre-existing condition. I wonder what kind of claim they will honor. One said that that insurance is nothing. So stay away from this insurance administrator. They usually cater the Healthsmart insurance.
