Review content:
Dobie is a great place to catch the lastest indy film releases. Of course, the definition of independent films vary.
Here you'd find the 'bigger' independent films.
The ticket prices are kinda high, around $7 last time I checked, but there are plenty of promotions.
In the beginning of the year, you can get buy one get one free offers. They also have free screenings usually on weekend mornings that you can attend.
Certain days and times can also ensure cheap tickets. Midnight shows are a pretty good way to go.
The screens are not very large, but the decorations are cool. One room has gargoyles, another has an egyptian theme. It makes the theatre feel a little more personal than being in a stadium style tacky 40 screen cineplex.
