Review content:
If you are just looking to spend 15-30 minutes looking at displays, the Pier aquarium is sufficient. Do not expect anything of great size (i.e. no shark displays). Last time I was there they did not charge an admission but did have a small donation box at the front of the entrance (which seemed reasonable).
There is a small gift store at the exit of the aquarium for gifts. While I wouldn't consider this an attraction in itself, it is nice to view when visiting the pier for other activities.
Parking is located in several lots along the pier. There is a fee but a shuttle will also bring you from the lot to the end of the pier.
