Review content:
There are some cardinal rules of dining, or so I'm told. One of them is to never eat cheap sushi.
But what is one to do if one wants to eat Japanese food, and on a budget? The solution might be to check out Shiroi Hana. Shiroi Hana has a full range of Japanese foods, ranging from bento box style combination sets to sushi. It's true - the sushi here is only about average, which is appropriate for the price - but the non sushi items are quite good.
The best values are their combination meals, which feature miso soup, a bento box set including sushi and a main like teriyaki chicken or beef, rice, and a dessert. This sets you back just over $10, and it's extremely filling.
Make no mistake, haute Japanese cuisine this isn't, but it's solid value.
