Review content:
$421.27 is what I was charged to have two torsion springs replaced on my garage door. The job took 25 minutes to complete. I even used one of their coupons for a $50 discount. I was charged $47.50 for the service call, $125 for the labor, and $138 per spring. Their technician looked me in the eye and said this was a fair and competitive price. That was a LIE! One can buy the exact same galvinized torsion springs online for $45 each. After feeling completely ripped off, I did some calling around and got estimates. Other companies quoted me prices ranging from $135 to $260 for the exact same service including the springs. I called to complain which was a complete waste of time. They said they would consider my issue and call me back. I never heard back from them. They really don't care.
My advice would be to steer clear of O'Brien Garage Doors. Call several companies, expain what you need, and get estimates. Don't be fooled by O'Brien's coupons.
