Good: Nothing. Bad: I was treated by a platoon of dentists each giving a different diagnosis and course of action. In the end I am down three teeth, $1,000, five out of the way trips, a broken filling due to a rough extraction, and a super loose tooth from the same. I walked out yesterday still with unhealthy teeth and the advice to save $50,000 for implants.. Improvements: The method of haphazard diagnosis and treatment at the expense of the patient needs to be eliminated. The professors seem to mouth of a course of action without real merit. There is no central person treating you and as your chart is shuffled from speciality to speciality you are given different information. My money is hard earned and while the costs are less than a private dentist it is not cheap at the clinic. There seems no regard for wasting your dollars on treatments with no long term benefits.. Other: I would like to speak to a faculty member/administrator to rectify my poor treatment. I cannot chew on my right side anymore due to loss of teeth (although the professor tells me I can - how she knows what goe son in my mouth astounds me). I should be reimbursed for the filling that cracked due to the residents incompetence. To go back to the clinic and have an undergraduate repair anything ranks below a root canal..
