We read the great comments online - and decided to have Eagle Pest control deal with our bug issues. I had done some research and had met with other pest companies - so I was familiar with how much others were charging for the same service. Their quote came in more than 2x as high!
But, they say they will meet competitor’s prices - so they met the competitor’s price and we decided to have them come in and spray. The day they were to begin, the pest control company started telling us about various fees that will be added onto our program that because they had met competitors prices they would have to charge us for the follow ups that come after the initial service (which competitors do not do) and charge us for any time they come to our home (which if it is within your quarterly plan, competitors do not charge). They will also not check for any future pests within your quarterly plan (e.g., checking as a preventative measure to make sure mice do not appear in your crawl space)...to do any sort of crawl space checks is an additional hefty fee.
Beware, do your research - and stay away from this company - they don't care about future business but the $ made today. And will try to get your business initially only to hit you with a bunch of other fees as you ask for more details about the plan.
