In case you didn't know Hair Theatrix moved in August 2008!! Jean and Giselle are now operating from Pangea Salon @ 13 W.17thSt.(street level) They are as good as ever or better!! I can't say enough about these 2 women!! They provide consistently great cuts and color for a reasonable price in a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere!! No attitude, just real, working,men and women who don't need "an experience", they just want really good color and cuts at a price that doesn't break the bank!! The new location near Union Square is fantastic for all it has to offer before or after your appointment. Good and easy transportation, the farmers market, SHOPPING galore and lot's of resturants. You will not be disappointed. Giselle's forte is curly hair like her own and cuts and color for people who like to keep it simple and natural. Jean (I call her Jeanius!) has been doing hair for 32 years now and is as talented and fresh as ever!! she has worked on Broadway,TV, and films, has done hair for many famous people but still enjoys her time in the salon with all of us "real" folks. I always look forward to my appointment for a story about a hair show, or a film.You will not be disappointed. Holly S.
