Review content:
Barewood is an enormous store. They have wooden furniture for every room of the house, and if they don't have what you need, they can almost certainly order it. Their sales staff are friendly and knowledgeable but not intrusive; they don't mind you wandering around the store for hours, if that's your preference.
The furniture prices are considerably cheaper than other stores in the area, because the furniture is unfinished, but even if you pay for professional finishing the prices are still reasonable. They do an excellent job of finishing and let you know up front the effect of the type of the wood on the stain. (They can even make different woods match surprisingly closely -- something I could never have managed if I were doing the finishing on my own.) They also offer delivery for a reasonable fee. Finishing services can be a bit slow (I was told three weeks and it took nearly four last time) but if you're not in a hurry you'll be pleased with the results.
