Review content:
I have been a Plato's Closet fan and loyal customer for many years- both in Denver and here in Seattle. I have probably spent over $1,000 dollars there total (a lot for a second-hand store). Anyway, today I drove all the way up to the Bellevue store, expecting a nice, welcoming atmosphere at the bigger store to sell a ton of my nice, designer clothes (Seven Jeans, Guess dresses, BCBG, Steve Madden, etc.). Just another errand on my list- or so I thought!
Instead, as soon as I walked in the door, I was promptly ignored (there was not a single customer in the store). Additionally, I was immediately treated as if I were an annoyance to the owner- he immediately and condescendingly commented on the fact that I brought my clothes in big plastic bags (oh the horror!!). Keep in mind that I specifically tied the bags so that they could be easily opened and used again- by me! No "hello, how are you today" or "how may I help you"- instant reprimand and condescension. Anyhow- instead of arguing that I am actually a VERY eco-conscious person and that I really do my best to save the earth and such- I ignored it and proceeded to fill out the little form they require, while muttering "it's always something here" feeling truly frustrated at his comments and at some minor issues with various rules that they have in place (and always make a point to tell you).
No big deal right? WRONG! The dude reacted as if I had challenged him to a duel or cussed him out or something. He start
