Review content:
I guess I have horrible luck when it cames to beauty salons because no matter where I go, I seem to have a bad experience. I went to Adam's for a permanent wave because my friend absolutely raved about the place. She had told me that all the stylists were very professional and had years of training and experience. It looked like a very upscale place and it had a lot of business. Well, as the saying goes, looks can be very deceiving. After hours of subjection to really strong chemical fumes, my perm turned out horrible. I had asked for loose waves (like the Mary-Kate and Ashley kind) and what I got were Little Richie tiny ringlets. When I saw myself in the mirror I nearly cried. I had yell at them for hours to fix my hair because there was no way in hell I was going to walk outside completely humiliated like that. They eventually did some kind of relaxer thing on my hair, which loosened those gross ringlets, but I still didn't get what I wanted. I left very unhappy. I had thought that going to a more professional place and paying extra would get me better results, but the salon I had gone to before for a permanent wave (which was much cheaper) had way better results. Needless to say, I will never return to Adam's again. My stylist and the management are a salon-goers worst nightmare.
