I recently moved to Arlington in July and was seeking a hair stylist and someone to cut my hair for my friend's wedding.
If you don't know Arlington, MA has a ton of hair salons and when I walked by this salon it was the most appealing looking salon. I walked in on a Thursday evening and was able to get an appointment with the owner for that coming Saturday! With the owner of the salon which was pretty awesome.
So I went in on Saturday and I loved every minute of it. They have fresh tea, fresh coffee, and very comfortable chairs to wait in. My wait was not long at all and I enjoyed the atmosphere of the salon Especially the people!
If you want to go somewhere that has an inviting friendly atmosphere, that doesn't cost you a ton of money, go to JR Burke Salon.
PS. Did I mention that they are open 7 days a week and very flexible around your schedule? To me that says it all!
