As of October 2007, every tenant living here has to be out of their apartments, as the entire complex is being demolished. (tenants received notices a month ago). The city of Dallas re-zoned it for something else, but it's a blessing that this complex is being bull-dozed. Management is a pain, they don't do a thing about repairs or noise, or anything else. Why should they care, when the place is getting the wrecking ball in a few months? Alot of tenants are in the process of moving out now (Aug. 2007) and have a habit of dumping their crappy furniture wherever they see fit, on the grounds, once they've vacated the apartments. Half the washers and dryers in the laundry rooms don't work, mailboxes are broken open and vandalized, and a few months ago, the complex had a spate of robberies and vandalism in broad daylight. The wood facade on the buildings are rotted and peeling, as is the balconies on the upper-level apartments, and wood fencing surrounding the ground-floor patios of each apartment. One building that was boarded-up over a year ago because of a fire, is infested with rats and snakes. (we've seen a few snakes slithering around the grounds, along with rats outside, on occasion). We also witnessed tenants removing appliances from the apartments as they were moving out, along with other fixtures from each apartment. (why not? the place is being torn down anyway, do you blame them?) The management is not supposed to be renting to any new tenants because of the complex being demolished, but they are, anyway. (Probably pocketing the rent money themselves, instead of giving it to whatever company owns this complex). Loud parties, loud tenants, drug dealings are the norm here. Management does not care, neither do the "security guards". Even if you need an emergency, short-term rental, go somewhere else. I'm surprised they're still taking in tenants, (after we've been told they're not supposed to be doing this), considering the place has a life expectancy of two months before the bull-dozers arrive. Anything for money, I guess !
