I had unpleasant experience at Table 34 Restaurant on 7/28/2007 while having dinner with my husband and four other family members (six of us). We were ushered to sit at a round wooden dining table meant for 10 people, with no tablecloth. I observed the other tables behind us were draped with tablecloth.
The rest of them finished with their dinner first while I was still working on the entrees. Then the waiters came and took away everyone else dishes including drinking glasses, the basket of bread, and cleared away everything in front of them. Suddenly I realized I was left eating by myself at that big bare table. It was embarrassing. When we had dessert, the waiter brought over six forks holding in his hands and set them down individually with no table napkin to rest on. I feel I have been offended to receive this kind of shabby treatment. This is not fine dining and certainly not first class service but charging liked one.
