Businiess name:  Dugan's Dairy Farm
Review by:  Laura S.
Review content:
Dugan's Dairy is a fun place to take the kids. They can see and experience a real working dairy, from milking a cow to seeing how the milk is processed and cows are taken care of. The tour starts with a tour of the barn where everyone gets to try their hand at milking a cow. This is followed by a hayride around the dairy. Guides explain what is going on in each of the pens, show where the milking occurs and point out anything interesting going on. The tour ends with a demonstration of some veterinary medical treatments. There are lots of animals to pet, a hay maze to play in, and everyone gets a free carton of milk. There is a nice covered picnic area and you can bring a sack lunch. Strollers and wagons are not allowed, so if you have small children be prepared to carry them or let them walk. The dairy is not open during the summer, so call ahead to check hours.
