Review content:
This is probably one of my favorite places in Boston for many reasons. First, the chef/owner Andy is a community guy, and a driving force behind Share Our Strength. SOS is a charity dedicated to helping hungry kids in Boston. (1 out of 7 in this town to be exact)
Of course, a guy like this will always have due consideration in my world, but it also helps that the food and service has always been very good. It is very creative cuisine and is always evolving. I could never understand ordering plain steak or broiled scallops....Why not do it yourself?
Serve me Artic Char in a Banana Leaf with Hoisin sauce or sushi grade Tuna prepared in some other original way...As long as it is good .
At Tremont, it always is
