When I graduated from high school, I started my college career at Saddleback College. I also attended there again at a later time. This is a great community college. I was able to complete most of my undergraduate requirements there. It is very inexpensive...when I attended, it was $11/unit for California residents (the last I heard, it went up to $14/unit or such, but that is still an amazing deal) There is a large library, a bookstore, and activities to do on campus. I enjoyed the classes I took. Some were ones you probably wouldn't find at a traditional university - like Italian cooking. Parking is usually not too bad, especially compared to the university I am near now. All in all, I would advise anyone to start out with their general requirements here. Save a lot of money and get a good education.
