I LOVE the Denver Zoo, my kids love the zoo and my parents love the Denver Zoo!
There is free parking, cheap annual passes, and tons to see at the Denver Zoo. You can make it an hour trip, or an all day trip. They have reasonably priced food, a small train, and a carousel. They also boast a brand new predator exhibit.
You are always going to see something interesting there. The zoo staff is friendly and there is a lot to see.
I have been to many zoos across the US and I am excited that I live near this one!
