when i moved into town, i was short on work. i was expecting a job that fell through. i turned to Manpower, and they were able to give me work every week, and would call me every day with opportunities. the staff is friendly, and i was never cheated on pay. in fact, i appeared for a job that was cancelled upon my arrival, and i was still given 4 hours pay at $10/hr. there is no fee for applying, just standard paperwork (ID, previous employment, education). they will drive you to some of the work scenarios.
