This was just a reminder to me why I haven't gone to the show in ages. I just happened to get a gift certificate here so I thought I'd go and see what I have been missing! The Star Theatre is located at the 15 Mile and Gratiot Old Regional Shopping Center. It is rather new in comparison to the old stores that have been there forever. The rocking recliners are nice enough unless you have a lower back problem so I had to miss a few minutes every once and awhile to get up and walk around. That is my problem and few have the same condition. Still I was very very disappointed with the cost of refreshments. It is utterly outrageous to spend that kind of money that you must fork out in the theatres now-a-days. The last time I went to the show was to see "Titanic" when it first came out....maybe about 7 years ago. And with todays prices it may be another 7 years before I return again unless I get another gift certificate to one.
