Review content:
The Lucas branch of the Public library here is located under and behind the Post Office. Those who are not familiar with Lucas will miss it if they are not looking.
But that doesn’t mean they are not doing a great job. While their selection isn’t deep, they do order books for you and hold them for you to pick up. There are computer terminals in the building for you to do research on line and pick up your email if you do not have a computer at home.
They do carry lots of kids DVD’s for those rainy days when the kids are home and there is nothing for them to do. And, of course, they have lots of kids books and there are programs the library provides the local kids. The staff is very courteous, knowledgeable and friendly.
The Lucas branch is not big, but it is doing a great job serving the local community. Stop in and support your local branch!
